What is Marina Bay?
Marina Bay is Lake Murray’s newest lakefront lifestyle destination, with luxury-casual rental residences and resort-style amenities at The Residence at Marina Bay, as well as the following partners: Lake Murray Marina; Liberty Tap Room on the Lake; Lake Murray Boat Club & Better Boat Rental. The motto? Eat, Boat, Live!
Where is Marina Bay located?
Marina Bay is 25 minutes from downtown Columbia, SC, on the east side of Lake Murray near the Harbison shopping, dining and entertainment district. Address is 1600 Marina Road, Irmo, SC 29063. From I-26 W take exit 101 A and merge into 176 W towards Ballentine/White Rock. Go approximately 3 miles and keep left at the fork. In about 1.5 miles turn left onto Marina Road. Marina Bay is on the right.
May the public dine at the restaurant?
When it opens in 2013, yes! Liberty on The Lake is the sister restaurant to Liberty Tap Room and will be open to the public prior to boating season 2013. Guests will enjoy a lakefront view, indoor and outdoor seating, full bar, wide selection of beers on tap, and lunch & dinner service.
Who owns Marina Bay?
Marina Bay and Lake Murray Marina are developed by The Arnold Companies. InterMark Management Corporation professionally manages The Residence at Marina Bay. Lake Murray Boat Club and Better Boat Rental are managed independently.
Is there a public beach at Marina Bay?
No, there is no public beach or swimming beach at Marina Bay. The Marina is exclusively for boating and watersports.
May I launch my boat at Marina Bay?
There is no public boat launch at Marina Bay. The nearest public launch is at The Haven (6 miles away). Slipholders may launch boats and other watercraft, however. To inquire about leasing a boat slip at Lake Murray Marina, call 803.781.1585. To join Lake Murray Boat Club, call 803.407.2828. There will be boat parking slips for visitors who would like to boat up to enjoy the food and beverages at Liberty on the Lake.
How much parking is available?
There are over 500 total spaces for cars, with over 300 reserved for The Residence, which will include more than 150 gated and 175 non-gated spaces, plus more than 15 garages with remote access. There are 125 parking spaces for the boating facilities. An additional 75 public parking spaces will be dedicated to the restaurant.

Are these condos? Are they for sale?
No, The Residence at Marina Bay is an upscale rental apartment community. Rentals range from $1100 to $1650 per month. For more info, visit http://www.livemarinabay.com.
What is the style of The Residence at Marina Bay?
Marina Bay has a comfortable, upscale interior design sense with beautiful outdoor living spaces and stylish furnishings in communal spaces like the pool deck, indoor theater, club lounge and grilling deck. Residents can choose from stainless steel and black appliance packages and will find details like granite and wood throughout the community. The feel of The Residence at Marina Bay is inspired by resort designs found in Miami, South Florida, and California – when you get home, you're on vacation.
What types of apartments are available to rent?

Can residents keep a boat at Marina Bay?

What is the price of a boat slip?
Boat slip prices vary at Lake Murray Marina at Marina Bay. Slip sizes and types range from side ties, half-slips, covered slips and 26-foot floating dock slips to 90-foot outside tie slips on the Marina’s multiple floating docks. How do I rent a boat at Marina Bay?

What can I rent at Better Boat Rental?

Can slipholders eat at the restaurant?
Yes! Liberty on the Lake will be open to everyone, including the general public. This sister to Liberty Tap Room in the Vista will open prior to boating season 2013.
Do you have dry storage?
No, there is no dry dock storage, although there are covered slips at the Marina.

Is the restaurant at Marina Bay related to Liberty Tap Room?

When will Liberty on the Lake be open?
The restaurant is slated to open prior to boating season 2013.
What type of cuisine will be served at Liberty on the Lake?
The menu will include the best of Liberty Tap Room in the Vista, as well as a raw bar and a few favorites from Pearlz Oyster Bar. The menu is sure to please any palate, paying homage to quintessential American cooking with familiar favorites like Certified Angus Beef® burgers and specialty steaks, Blue Ribbon Chicken Salad, hearty sandwiches and house-made pizzas. Comfort food and bold flavors marry perfectly with a mix of hearty to healthy items. We will also offer the best and most extensive collection of brews on tap, including microbrews and the restaurant’s own line of award-winning draft beer, the Liberty Ales.
Do you have to be a resident or member to eat at the restaurant?
No! Everyone will be welcome to dine at Liberty on The Lake.
Are there other food and drink options at Marina Bay?
The ship store at Lake Murray Marina stocks an assortment of snacks, ice and soft drinks.
Will there be events at Liberty on the Lake?
There will be private banquet facilities for special occasions and space for large party accommodations. They also have two beautiful outdoor decks to enjoy the sunsets and have events.
